Pelvic Physiotherapist in Brazil – Supporting Women During Pregnancy and Postpartum
My name is Isis Sampaio, and I am a pelvic physiotherapist with experience since 2017. My goal is to help women in their journey of self-awareness and healing at every stage of life. My services include support and relief from pelvic pain and discomfort, such as urinary incontinence and hemorrhoids, during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period.
- During pregnancy: I improve breathing and circulation, increase body awareness and perineal awareness, strengthen pelvic muscles, and teach pain relief strategies. My goal is to make labor more comfortable and calm.
- Postpartum: I help manage issues such as urinary incontinence, sagging, and abdominal diastasis. During individual consultations, we work on reorganizing the body to address these concerns.
My consultations take place in a comfortable, well-equipped office and include breathing exercises, posture control, manual therapy, laser therapy, and electrotherapy if needed. I strive to make each visit comfortable and effective so that you can reach your goals faster.
My main goal is to promote your independence and confidence in your body during pregnancy and after childbirth. Let’s work together to make your journey to childbirth and recovery more harmonious and successful!
In this video, you will learn:
- Effective positions and breathing techniques that will help ease labor and improve your experience.
- Massage techniques for the back and perineum to reduce pain and minimize the risk of tearing.
- Postpartum exercises that will help you recover and get your body back in shape after childbirth.
When to start:
- Start physiotherapy sessions between the 34th and 35th week of pregnancy.
- Continue with postpartum care about one month after childbirth.
