Physiotherapist Dr. Danièle Masiél

Physiotherapist specializing in two areas:

  1. Gestation – the period of embryonic and fetal development in the mother's body until birth, lasting up to 40 weeks. This monitoring process includes trimesters (the three periods into which pregnancy is divided). Each trimester has its own characteristics, and only an experienced physiotherapist like Dr. Danièle Masiél can professionally monitor and respond to potential changes.
  2. Postpartum recovery. Dr. Danièle Masiél’s approach includes several key aspects important for the physical and emotional health of new mothers. First, this involves pelvic and pelvic floor recovery, uterine recovery, and the gradual introduction of physical activity, which typically starts with light exercises.

Each case is unique and may involve a variety of other postpartum recovery practices. The key is that Dr. Danièle Masiél knows how to find the most suitable methods for a comfortable recovery for women.

Dr. Masiél’s professional experience covers both clinical practice and Pilates, as well as lymphatic drainage. These methods can be extremely beneficial for mothers, especially during the postpartum period.

  • Pilates helps restore abdominal and back muscle strength, which is important for maintaining posture and preventing pain.
  • It also improves flexibility, which can help better manage physical strain and body changes after childbirth.
  • All of these gentle exercises can assist in postpartum rehabilitation and prepare the body for everyday activities.

Pilates also promotes relaxation and improves mood.

Lymphatic drainage for postpartum women includes: reducing swelling, improving circulation, and can be a very pleasant and relaxing procedure, which is important during the emotional strain after childbirth.

Dr. Danièle Masiél is proficient in both methods, which can help restore the body after pregnancy and improve overall well-being. However, before starting any sessions or procedures, it’s always advisable to consult with a doctor!
